After 8 agonizing months I finally decided to take the plunge and purchase a tractor. I have been following the boards and heeding the day to day expertise from different individuals that share their knowledge on numerous tractor topics. I just purchased a TC35D w/ 6 ft. loader, block heater and wheel weights for rear wheels. Rec'd several different quotes but finally settled on $19,650 delivered. I have 41 acres & plan on using it to plow, & a plethora of other details. I believe the first implement I am going to buy is a box blade to level out some logging roads. Can't wait to play w/ my new baby!

Dennis... I've been pricing TC35D's and getting higher quotes, I think. Specifically, I was quoted $21,000 for the TC35D with R4 tires loaded and 6 foot loader. I'm in central New Hampshire and this price seems to be the going price for the dealers that I checked. I wonder where you bought your tractor? Good luck with your new family member!

Congratulations Dennis, I am a A JD kind of person but when
I saw my buddies new tc35 with a loader i got very jealous.
A box blade is a good choice, if you don't buy blue look at
the Gannon line, its good stuff. ....

Dave - In regards to your questions I am located in Cortland NY where I bought the tractor. The tractor, in addition, has R4 tires & optional dual power joy stick which I didn't order but was a pleasant surprise because it was all included in the previously mentioned price. Note: the first time I went to the dealership I spoke to one salesman who gave me a price of $20,400 & told me that was his best price. Approximately a week later I went to the same dealership but spoke to a different salesman who quoted me the price of $19,650 & stated that was the best price he could do. I knew I was getting a good deal at that point based on prices I was seeing on the boards. Went to the dealer today & saw the new baby, she is beautiful. The salesrep went over the tractor explaining all the features. Delivery will be Friday 11:00am. Anticipation is driving me insane!! ....

Dennis,
Your excitement is infectious! And Friday is only two days away.
I continue to get essentially the $21,000 prices in the area. It may be that I will have to just accept it if I want a dealer close enough to make the service easy. I have been tractor driving, and my wife has also been driving them. Together we are thinking of the TC40D instead. It isn't clear there is any meaningful differences, but it seems quieter to us. Let me know how it feel to have the tractor at home.

Dave, I believe I read that you have been dealing with Ryan. I am also in the market for a TC35D or TC40D Hydro,FEL,R4s (Without Super Steer) a rear mower and a box blade. Minus the implements I have been quoted $21200 for the tractor at this dealer. The SS was talked down as another maintenance item to avoid if possible but that may be based on what they want to move. Both tractors are a bit large for my 2.5 acres of lawn (hence the interest in SS) but I have a 7 acre field and another 25 acres of woods to play in so the larger unit is needed. Have you been able to get Ryan to move or have you talked to Capital? I hope to get a deal done as soon as possible (6 weeks at the outside). ....
